We are a cross-unit and cross-location AI, tech and experience team. With more than 50 developers, AI & Fullstack engineers, UX designers and consultants working directly with other WongDoody teams, we are team players and specialists - oth in frontend and backend. We are now looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who connects platform engineering, security, and automation to build robust, scalable foundations for modern digital and AI-driven systems.

What you can expect

Cloud, Platform & Automation

• Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructures and platform setups
• Automate deployments, environments, and operational processes
• Build reliable foundations for fast, stable, and traceable releases 

Security by Design

• Integrate security early into development and operations
• Define and enforce standards across infrastructure, access, secrets, and data flows
• Identify risks early and implement pragmatic, maintainable solutions 

Reliability, Monitoring & Collaboration

• Ensure observability, availability, and resilience of systems
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and product teams
• Bring structure to complex environments and balance speed with quality

What we'd love to see

• Several years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud architectures
• Experience with container technologies and automated deployment pipelines
• Solid understanding of security principles, IAM, secrets management, and distributed systems security
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, incident handling, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, or Cloud Run is a plus
• Exposure to security automation, policy enforcement, or vulnerability scanning
• Experience with AI/data platforms or production AI systems is a plus
• Understanding of FinOps and cost-aware infrastructure is beneficial
• Clear, pragmatic communication of complex technical topics
• Fluent in German and/or English (B2–C1)
