We are looking for an experienced Deputy Store Manager in retail, ideally in Premium or Luxury retail for out Outlet BOSS Factory Outlet Málaga, located in Calle Alfonso Ponce de León 3 104-105 29004 Málaga.

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager in retail, premium or luxury, of at least 5 years. (Experience in outlets will be highly valued).
  • Providing customer service and ensuring that the established standards are met.
  • Ensuring customer loyalty and an excellent shopping experience.
  • Understanding, analyzing and communicating commercial reports and results to the team, and making decisions to achieve the defined KPIs.
  • Strong knowledge of the product and the brand, and ensuring the team is properly trained.
  • Optimizing product display in collaboration with Visual Merchandising and the Store Manager.
  • Ensuring that the store facilities are kept in perfect condition.
  • High level of English, advanced C1.

 

What you can expect:

General

As a Deputy Store Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing all store areas and employees to ensure commercial success, as well as all operational tasks during the Store Manager’s absence.

People

  • Support the Store Manager in the recruitment and selection processes.
  • Prepare and conduct performance reviews with the sales teams.
  • Plan staff scheduling according to business peaks, productivity, payroll and hourly forecasts.
  • Deliver trainings related to operations (e.g. loss prevention, complaints handling, etc.).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of employee training (e.g. online trainings, in-person sessions, etc.).

Product

  • Responsible for all procedures related to merchandise.
  • Responsible for collecting, sharing and communicating product feedback.
  • Responsible for managing stock and shrinkage.

Performance

  • Responsible for achieving targets by communicating them clearly, following up and implementing action plans, as well as reporting the store KPIs.
  • Responsible for all loss prevention operations.
  • Build and maintain strong awareness of competitors and the local markets.

Customer Service & CRM

  • Identify and develop a strong client base to ensure long-term customer loyalty.
  • Manage CRM data to guarantee its quality and accuracy.
  • Support the Store Manager / Responsible with transactions, complaints and claims.

Procedures & Systems

  • Responsible for compliance with all policies and procedures (health and safety, operations manual, dress code, etc.).
  • Ensure the optimal use of systems and latest technologies.

  • Experience in a similar position where targets have been set, achieved and exceeded.
  • Proven experience in motivating, leading and developing teams through active management.
  • Strong commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to business needs.
  • Experience in building networks and relationships.
  • Strong skills in using systems and technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning.
  • Passion for and knowledge of the brand.
  • Fluency in a second language is an advantage.
