Deputy Manager Supplier Quality
Roles & Responsibilities:
Operational tracking of maturity of focus parts from nomination to SOP
Tracking of project-specific time plans for plausibility and feasibility
Implementation of milestones committed by suppliers
Make quality assurance plan and determine quality classification of assigned parts.
Coordination of appointments between suppliers and internal MAN organizational organizations
Handle quality deviations on approved parts
Conduct technical review with supplier
Evaluate supplier through carrying out Pre- Potential analysis audit (POT) and organizing and assisting POT
Perform Q-rating for assigned suppliers
Evaluate and approve the APQP from suppliers connected to assigned parts.
Organize and conduct Process audit
Conduct R@R
Examine part manufacturing feasibility and assess requirements for serial tool production
Expedite and support tool development and part development until PPAP completion
Definition and assessment of measures to optimize the tools systems processes
Ensure implementation of commissioned capacities and documentation
Additional Skills:
Strong knowledge of various part manufacturing and tool building processes, such as Casting, Forging, Stamping, Injection Molding, Machining, and related industrial methods.
Strong understanding and practical implementation of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), including closure of PPAP documentation.
Experience in conducting and supporting Process Audits and familiarity with VDA 6.3, IATF process audits.
Hands-on experience in ramp up planning, production launch, and deep understanding of the end to end product development lifecycle.
Ability to interpret simulation results (e.g., Moldflow or similar tools) and translate them into actionable process or design improvements.
Practical experience in measurement systems, including handling and understanding various measuring instruments, gauges, and metrology equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
Experience in conducting and supporting Internal Audits and familiarity with VDA 6.3 process audits.
High degree of flexibility, willingness to take responsibility, and readiness for domestic and international travel as required.
