Major responsibilities:

• Review of Project Requirements

• Study motor design specifications, objectives, and scope.

• Ensure alignment with performance requirements along with driven equipment such as torque, speed, efficiency, and thermal limits.

• Identify gaps or ambiguities in motor design requirements.

• Review of Technical Documents

• Evaluate clarity, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards for motor designing.

• Design Suitability Assessment

• Assess the suitability of motor designs against project requirements.

• Use ANSYS Electronics to analyse and validate motor performance.

• Support identification of design improvements based on analysis results.

• Manufacturing

• Vendor development for motor manufacturing.

• Handle motor manufacturing.

Formal education: BE/ME Electrical

Professional experience: Can Motor Designing Expertise

In years: 6+ Years

Defined competencies:

Functional

• Expertise in Canned Motor designing.

• Basic understanding of electric motor fundamentals.

• Knowledge of 3-phase induction motor design principles.

• Ability to read and interpret technical and component drawings.

• Understanding of customer technical specifications and requirements.

• Working knowledge of ANSYS Electronics for motor modelling and analysis.

• Knowledge of electrical measuring instruments.

• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and cross-functional departments for document submission and coordination.

• Knowledge of SAP.
