Deputy Estimator ( UAE National )

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Estimator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our organisation by preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analysing data, and contributing to the overall success of our bidding process.

  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects of varying sizes and complexities
  • Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates
  • Experience in CCS Candy
  • Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
  • Prepare and maintain a database of previous bids and current cost information
  • Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost breakdowns
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness
  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new estimating techniques
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
  • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification preferred would be an advantage 
  • UAE National Only
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as CCS Candy, or similar tools
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience in cost analysis and budget preparation
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
  • Familiarity with MENA region construction practices and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
