Denver/Aurora - Sanitation Lead - 3rd shift
Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, you will lead and coordinate sanitation activities to ensure the cleanliness of plant facilities and equipment in compliance with food safety standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. You will oversee a team of sanitation employees, support operations across the Denver and Aurora locations, and work collaboratively with Quality Assurance and Production to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing environment.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Work with Quality Assurance to develop, implement, and maintain an effective sanitation program that supports food safety and regulatory compliance
Create, update, and maintain all sanitation documentation, including the master sanitation schedule
Communicate with Production and site leadership to plan and schedule daily and weekly sanitation activities
Determine staffing needs and schedule sanitation employees to ensure efficient use of labor
Lead, train, coach, and support sanitation team members, including temporary labor
Ensure all sanitation employees are trained on company policies, procedures, and sanitation‑specific duties
Enforce Udi’s policies, procedures, and practices consistently
Support a team‑oriented environment by working closely with supervisors and managers across departments
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Ingredients Required for Your Success
One year of food manufacturing experience
One year of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts Tuesday through Saturday
Willingness to work in cold and wet environments
Comfort working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and adapting to change
Willingness to give and receive direction in high‑pressure situations
Willingness to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly
Willingness to submit to drug testing following any incident involving injury or equipment
Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required
