Because we believe that at the heart of business banking is to uphold the values of trust and integrity for all our stakeholders.   Key Responsibilities: As a member of our Fraud Detection Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our customers' hard-earned money through the power of data analytics and machine learning (ML) models. Our team collaborates not only within the Bank but also across the industry and government agencies to stay at the forefront of fraud detection and prevention. Safeguarding Customer Assets: Manage and maintain data sources, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data that fuels our fraud detection models. Unveiling Hidden Patterns: Develop and execute data analysis plans to extract insights from large and complex datasets, uncovering hidden patterns and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity. Your expertise will be crucial in revealing vulnerabilities and amending fraud detection rules. Streamlining Fraud Detection: Housekeeping fraud detection rules, including deactivating or tweaking existing ones to reduce false positives (FP) and the overall number of rules, can optimize the rule engine. Translating Data into Actionable Insights: Create and deliver compelling data visualizations and reports that communicate findings to stakeholders, empowering them to make informed decisions and take swift action to prevent fraud. Driving Business Impact: Collaborate on multiple high-impact projects and work closely with domain experts from cross-functional teams to drive business value through data-driven solutions. Fostering Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problemsusing data, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork. Documenting for Success: Maintain proper documentation of business requirements and data management definitions, ensuring clarity and consistency in our processes. Embracing Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills to drive ongoing improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in data analysis and modelling for Associate role; 4+ years of experience for Senior Associate role - Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Tableau, and other data analysis tools - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and teamwork awareness - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Strong analytical skills with an investigative mindset - A proactive approach to tasks & responsibilities Job Type: Full-time Why DBS?
