Job description

Experience - 5 -10 Years

Location - Bengaluru , Chennai and Hyderabad

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Experience in ETL Development, Testing, and Migration by using Data Stage also experience in Database & Data Warehousing Concepts.
• Good exposure to different phases of project life cycle with significant contribution in low level design, development, review, testing and implementation of ETL projects.
• Designed parallel jobs using various stages like Copy, Join, Merge, Lookup, Funnel, Filter, Sort, Remove Duplicates, Sequential file, Data set, Lookup file set, Aggregator, Change Capture and Transformer.
• Created jobs in DataStage to import data from heterogeneous data sources like Oracle 9i, Text files and SQL Server.
• Good experience on UNIX and SQL.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data architects to understand business requirements
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance improvements
• Ensure data quality and data integrity across multiple sources
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
• Involved in designing the mapping with multiple files loading using file repository and good knowledge about data ware housing concepts.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure ETL best practices are followed
• Worked in Agile project and on JIRA to keep track of defect logs and change request.
• Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues
• Understand the varying demands across stakeholders, appreciation of operations support as a critical component of business delivery
