Join Bally’s Intralot as a Database Administrator (DBA)!

Your Role:
As a Database Administrator at Bally’s Intralot, you’ll play an active role in maintaining and optimizing our database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You’ll contribute to database design, automation, and optimization initiatives, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-level solutions across On-Premises, Cloud, and Hybrid infrastructures.

Your Responsibilities:

Database Management: Contribute to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Server) across different environments.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune database performance, perform query tuning, and ensure reliability and scalability.
Security & Compliance: Maintain strong backup, recovery, and access control procedures, ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR and the WLA Responsible Gaming Framework.
Automation & Scripting: Support and enhance automation processes using tools like Bash, Python, and Ansible, applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles where relevant.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Software Development, Infrastructure, and QA teams to deliver stable and efficient database solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend best practices to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
