Data Modeller(5-11 years)-Pan India

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain highquality data models that support enterprise data warehousing, analytics, and reporting initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in dimensional modeling, relational modeling, and data warehouse concepts, with close collaboration across business, data engineering, and analytics teams.

Experience: 5-11 Years

Education: BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech/ME/BSc/MSc.

Location: Pan India

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models

Develop dimensional data models (Star and Snowflake schemas)

Define fact tables, dimension tables, and grain

Apply normalization and denormalization techniques appropriately

Create and maintain sourcetotarget mappings

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements

Collaborate with Data Engineers and ETL teams during implementation

Ensure data models align with business rules, data governance, and standards

Perform impact analysis for changes in source or business requirements

Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and reporting efficiency

Maintain data model documentation and metadata

Support data quality, lineage, and compliance initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience as a Data Modeler

Expertise in:

Dimensional Modeling

Relational Data Modeling

Star Schema & Snowflake Schema

Handson experience with data modeling tools:

ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or equivalent

Strong SQL skills

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts

Experience with SCD (Type 1, Type 2, Type 3)

Knowledge of keys, constraints, indexing, and partitioning

Experience working with RDBMS and cloud data warehouses
