Data Lead – SAP S/4HANA Transformation

SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Data Lead to take ownership of the data strategy, governance and migration planning for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.

This is a key leadership role within the programme, responsible for ensuring that data is business-ready, reliable and aligned with Consumer Markets processes throughout the transformation journey

You’ll sit at the intersection of business, technology and delivery, shaping how data supports a successful move to S/4HANA.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

You will join our engineering team and be a valued member working closely in a collaborative, autonomous, cross-functional team. You will help with the following:

Owning and leading the end-to-end data strategy for the S/4HANA programme
Defining and driving data governance, data quality frameworks and the migration roadmap
Partnering with business process owners on critical data objects and domains
Overseeing cleansing, mapping, transformation and validation activities across systems
Managing relationships with System Integrators and data migration partners
Tracking progress, mitigating risks and ensuring cutover readiness
Acting as the data authority within the programme, influencing decisions and priorities

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Proven experience leading data workstreams in SAP programmes, ideally S/4HANA
Strong understanding of Consumer Markets data, including: Master data, transactional data, data quality and governance principles
Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders and programme leadership
Spanish fluency (spoken and written) is essential
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Strong English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal

AWESOME BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Previous hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration tools (e.g. LTMC, Migration Cockpit, ETL platforms)
Experience working in large-scale enterprise transformation programmes
Background in Consumer Goods / FMCG / Retail environments
Familiarity with MDG (Master Data Governance) or similar data governance platforms
Strong understanding of cutover planning and hypercare phases
Exposure to multi-country or multi-entity SAP rollouts
Experience working with System Integrators (SIs) in complex delivery environments
