Data Centre Electrical Systems Engineer
Provide technical engineering leadership and expertise in the design and development of LV, MV, UPS, energy storage and other applicable data centre electrical systems and solutions. And Conduct detailed technical engineering analyses and provide recommendations for improving electrical systems and processes. Adhoc supports on technical engineering system design support for customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design & Bid, engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure the successful implementation of electrical projects. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in electrical design. Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical design and implementation. Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements and building codes. Defining project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases. The person needs to develop trusted and influential relationships with Clients, Consultants, Partners and Industry peers. Ability to work on concurrent projects. Support for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed. Bachelor's degree in electrical / electronics engineering +3 years' experience in application engineering in data center systems engineering Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Customer-oriented mindset with a strong technical advisory approach. Familiarity and experience working to NPFA 70 & UL design standards is highly desirable. Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus). Experience a dynamic blend of work and leisure in one of the world's most exciting cities.
