Role Overview

As an Data & Analytics Consultant, you will support clients in using data more effectively to improve decision‑making, operations, and business outcomes. You’ll work as part of collaborative consulting teams, contributing to data analysis, reporting, data management, and analytics initiatives across financial services projects.

This role is suited for recent graduates or professionals with up to 3 years of experience who are interested in developing their skills across data analytics, business analysis, and consulting.


Responsibilities

Depending on the project and your development path, you may:

  • Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for clients
  • Support business analysis activities, including requirements gathering and process mapping
  • Assist with data mapping, data quality reviews, and data management initiatives
  • Prepare datasets for analysis using Excel, SQL, Python, or similar tools
  • Build reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate insights clearly
  • Support analytics, modelling, or experimentation work under guidance from senior team members
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across client organisations
  • Learn and apply consulting best practices, frameworks, and delivery methodologies

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 0–3 years of professional experience (including internships, graduate roles, or analyst positions)
  • Background in consulting, analytics, data, technology, or financial services is an advantage but not required

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
  • Comfortable working with data and detail‑oriented tasks
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Curious, adaptable, and keen to learn in a fast‑paced environment

Technical Exposure (any of the following is an advantage)

  • Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • SQL and/or Python
  • Data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Basic understanding of data analytics, data management, or statistics
