Data Analyst- AI Enabler
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our central data experts to stabilise existing dashboards and implement new ones that support cross-functional needs.
Build and maintain insightful dashboards and detailed reports tailored to diverse audiences, including product squads and senior leadership.
Explore our central data platform to uncover new use cases, identify opportunities, and highlight areas for improvement.
Serve as a central point of contact for data-related topics, connecting various elements of our data ecosystem.
Champion data quality by identifying issues and supporting resolution efforts to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Partner directly with Squad Leads to drive data initiatives forward, operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Translate complex datasets into compelling narratives and visualisations that support decision-making across the organisation.
Promote data literacy and empower product teams and stakeholders to use data effectively in their daily work.
Required key competencies and qualifications:
Data Engineer experience of 5-8 yrs.
Proven experience in a Data Engineer role, ideally within agile, cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with a talent for solving complex problems.
Expertise in data visualisation and storytelling, with hands-on experience using tools such as Looker Studio (preferred), MicroStrategy, or Tableau.
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, with a track record of querying large datasets in BigQuery.
Solid understanding of centralised data platforms and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
Familiarity with core statistical concepts, including summary statistics and outlier detection.
Awareness of foundational AI concepts and their relevance to data analysis and product development.
Proactive, self-aware, and customer-oriented mindset, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
