Want to be our colleague? In the Cyperf Application and Threat Intelligence (ATI) team we research and develop simulations of real-world traffic, from the latest agentic AI communication patterns to major CVEs, to newly developed protocols, to popular web apps. 

 Keysight CyPerf software is a true cloud-native testing solution for applications and security, capable of recreating realistic user and network workloads across both physical and cloud-based environments.

You will:

• Work on delivering features in well-defined releases of major software and hardware products developed at Keysight, intended for specialist B2B markets
• Work as part of an Agile team that researches real-world traffic, and creates tools to convert it to realistic and performant emulations
• Design, develop, unit test, debug and optimize these emulations to achieve high scales while maintaining realism
• Interact with project managers, leads, other developers and QA teams in order to understand, scope and specify the features; plan the schedule; design and implement the solutions; perform testing, optimization and bug fixing, all in order to deliver high quality releases on time;
• Align goals and tasks with teams from other geographical locations;
• Work with other engineers to identify unique & innovative solutions that can be targeted with patents;
• Participate in documentation of functional, design and test specifications;
• Have functional and feature ownership as well as direct accountability for project/feature delivery;

Please apply if you have:

• At least 3 years of development experience in Python, Linux command line tools;
• Experience with common tools and processes for analyzing network traffic (Wireshark, tshark, PCAP files, stream analysis, etc.);
• Strong knowledge of common network protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP);
• Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies;

Desirable but not mandatory:

• AWS experience;
• Experience with Docker and/or another container runtimes;
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm;
• Experience programming in Golang;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks well;
• Able to mentor others;
• BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent;
