Role: Network Engineer (IP/MPLS)

Location: Singapore

We are partnering with a leading telecommunications organization to hire a Network Engineer to support and enhance large-scale IP/MPLS core network environments. This role is critical in ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing network operations that power both consumer and enterprise services.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level support for complex IP core and enterprise network environments
Design, implement, and optimize network solutions across multi-vendor platforms
Troubleshoot critical network issues and ensure minimal downtime
Lead network transformation initiatives, including tech refresh and PoCs
Perform upgrades, patching, and security hardening of network infrastructure
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability reviews
Monitor network performance and recommend continuous improvements
Manage L2VPN/L3VPN provisioning and migrations
Support cloud and government network connectivity projects
Handle incident response, escalation management, and vendor coordination
Prepare technical reports and present insights to stakeholders

Requirements

5+ years of experience in enterprise or service provider network engineering

Strong expertise in IP/MPLS networks (BGP, OSPF)
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and network management tools
Proven track record in network upgrades, migrations, and incident recovery
Ability to operate in high-availability, 24/7 environments
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
