We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security team.  This role supports a variety of teams—Engineering, Sales, and Legal—by addressing security-related questions and ensuring our products and systems remain secure and compliant. Whether you're from a software development background looking to move into security, or are an experienced software security analyst, this is your chance to grow with us. Responsibilities: Analyze and assess CVE reports; recommend mitigations, workarounds, and remediation steps Support ongoing governance and compliance Contribute to the security hardening of BlueCat products Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams Support product penetration testing by maintaining target systems Qualifications: 4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems Ability to understand code in languages such as Java or C is required Understanding of software architectures, data-flows, and data-protection principles Strong understanding of software development practices Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) Excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical Solid understanding of IP networking and protocols (e.g., IPv4/6, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP) Familiarity with higher-layer protocols and security architectures (e.g., TLS, SSH) Knowledge of compliance domains such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR
