Customs and Trade Compliance Support Specialist

Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding! We are looking for a Customs Classifier/Compiler, within our Customs Department, at our Matraville (Sydney) Station

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare and process customs documentation in compliance with local regulations.
  • To input and maintain accurate data within customs and operational systems.
  • To provide administrative and back-office support, including scanning, filing, reporting, and COD payment management.
  • To set-up and manage master data while executing pre- and post-entry transactions.
  • To liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve requests, duty/tax, and billing issues.
  • To maintain documentation, SOPs, and records while supporting audits and best practice reviews.
  • To monitor clearance processes, follow up on documentation, and support the team with ad hoc requirements.
 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Building customer rapport and maintaining close contact with the customer.
  • Working closely with other teams to ensure open lines of communication are maintained.
  • Displaying an understanding across all customer billing requirements.
