Executive Search Brief: CTO / Co-Founder – OMEN (Stealth AI Ad-Tech)

Company Overview

OMEN is a self-funded, stealth-mode startup founded by ad-tech veterans with multiple billion-dollar exits. We’re building the identity OS for the supply side, using AI to solve fragmented ID environments, low fill rates, and lost monetization for publishers and SSPs.

First milestone: Ship a POC proving measurable lift in fill rates and revenue with an SSP or publisher group.

Role: CTO & Co-Founder (Equity Partner)

Hands-on builder from day one. You’ll write code, ship the POC, and own architecture end-to-end while scaling the engineering org. Co-own product and GTM in a lean, high-impact team.

Key Responsibilities

Build & ship: Code core systems, POC → MVP → enterprise platform

Own full tech roadmap: architecture, scalability, integrations

Hire and lead engineering from scratch

Drive AI/ML for identity resolution, privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA), analytics

Ensure security, governance, regulatory adherence

Requirements

10+ years software engineering; 5+ years CTO/VP Eng in ad-tech, mar-tech, or identity

Deep expertise: SSPs/DSPs, identity graphs, Privacy Sandbox, AI/ML

(TensorFlow/PyTorch), big data (Kafka/Spark/AWS/GCP)

Proven scaling of distributed systems + team leadership

Must code daily; startup founder/early exec experience ideal

Agile/DevOps, cloud-native, privacy regulation fluency

BS/MS CS/Eng (PhD a plus)
