The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Course Coordinator to lead our Bachelor of Community Services programs. This is a leadership role where you’ll shape the future of community services education, oversee academic excellence, and ensure our students graduate ready to make a difference in society.

This is more than an administrative role — it’s about being a driver of innovation, a mentor to academic staff, and a champion of a student-centric experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead & Inspire – Mentor and support academic staff, conduct appraisals, and foster a culture of excellence.

  • Shape Curriculum – Develop, review, and deliver engaging programs that meet industry and accreditation standards.

  • Elevate Student Experience – Ensure teaching and assessment practices remain student-focused and impactful.

  • Drive Quality & Compliance – Maintain academic integrity, oversee program reviews, and ensure alignment with regulations.

  • Operational Leadership – Oversee timetabling, resources, and program delivery to keep everything running smoothly.

About You

We’re looking for a dedicated academic professional who’s passionate about shaping the future of community services. You’ll bring:

  • Qualifications: PhD in Social Work or related welfare discipline (preferred), or Master’s degree with significant industry experience.

  • Leadership: Proven academic leadership experience with strong organisational and program management skills.

  • Compliance & Quality Focus: Familiarity with accreditation standards and education policies.

  • Teaching Expertise: Strong background in curriculum development, teaching, and program coordination.

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to complete).
