Description

Apple is seeking an exceptional senior lawyer to serve as the first line of legal coverage in Korea — a high-impact country counsel role. This position represents Legal as a member of the Apple Korea site leadership, serving as a trusted advisor to the business and legal colleagues around the world. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned lawyer who thrives at the forefront of complex legal and regulatory environments.

Minimum Qualifications

Admitted to practice law in Korea or another major jurisdiction (e.g. US, UK, Australia or equivalent) 12+ years of strong legal and regulatory experience advising multinational corporations at a leading law firm and/or in-house. A confident leader with a proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Deeply fluent in Korea's regulatory landscape, with the instinct to identify issues early and the judgment to act decisively. Exceptionally bilingual — articulate and persuasive in both English and Korean, with the ability to distil complex legal matters for diverse, non-legal audiences. A collaborative, intellectually curious self-starter who is energized by complexity and operates with composure in a fast-paced, global environment.
