Finance
From strategic to operational finance, our teams provide vital insights, analysis and reporting, enabling us to respond to ever-evolving business needs while ensuring we spend our money wisely. You'll work in teams that inform, shape and strengthen decision-making by maintaining robust data and producing sound forecasting and reporting. Your skills will help enhance financial understanding and improve data analytics across our organisation.
Commercial
Our commercial team supports the full spectrum of our work by acquiring everything from professional services to bespoke items for on-going research and development. Liaising with suppliers and working with customers in highly sensitive operational areas, our teams help build capability while ensuring value for money. Whether you're in a customer-facing team, commercial delivery or commercial operations, the work is fascinating, diverse and rewarding.
Legal
From operational compliance to litigation and corporate legal matters, our specialist legal teams work on novel, high-profile and challenging portfolios, using their expertise to help navigate issues central to our mission. All our legal teams work closely with operational and policy colleagues, both in MI6 and across government. Our legal work is as varied as the operations MI6 runs, so whichever team you join, you’ll gain unique insights into what we do.
Psychology/Behavioural Science
Our corporate psychology teams provide expertise to the central corporate functions such as wellbeing, HR and vetting. Our clinical psychology teams provide psychological assessments of agents to help manage operational risk, or give expert advice for staff operating in demanding, high-risk jobs.
Project Delivery
Our team of project delivery professionals are a vital part of MI6’s mission to protect the UK. They help us design, develop and shape products, solving unique business problems in areas like science, tech, finance and operations. We welcome forward thinking talent in disciplines like project planning, change management and business analysis. Our development-focussed approach means you can grow your expertise while building a unique and fascinating career.
Security Officers
Our security officers protect the people, places and assets that make our complex security operation a success. Friendly, professional and adaptable, with a wide range of backgrounds and skills, our security officers don’t need previous security experience, as we invest in training them to accredited SIA standards. We look for people who can stay calm under pressure, thrive in a team and have good observation skills.
Estates
Like any organisation, we need dedicated people to help our estate run smoothly. From facilities management maintaining our offices from the floor up, and telephonists connecting us across the globe, to drivers and logistics support transporting supplies worldwide, everyone contributes to delivering our mission. With peer support, internal and external training opportunities and the chance to gain industry recognised qualifications, you'll never stop learning.
