WEBB Traders is looking for a final-year student to join our Core SWE Team. The responsibility of the Core team is twofold:
build, maintain and improve the data systems powering all workflows within the organization, from research to production;
create outstanding tools and processes to support our control teams, unlock deep insights into our activity, and ultimately ensure the safety and efficiency of our operation.
You will be
Learning about the trading domain through training sessions and on-the-job interactions
Developing and optimising software solutions within various areas of the business: risk management, quantitative research, big data pipelines, etc.
Using a wide set of technologies such as Python, C++, Typescript and PostgreSQL to solve concrete problems with immediate return on investment
Actively collaborating, exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge with your team
Interacting with users to understand their objectives and improve their work through your technical ingenuity
