We’re looking to hire a strategic and experienced Content Strategy Manager based in Katowice, Poland.
Reporting to the Global MarCom Director of Digital Strategy, the Content Strategy Manager is responsible for shaping, creating, and governing ESAB’s global digital content. This role plays an active, hands-on part in writing and overseeing web content, leading global influencer outreach, guiding social media strategy and execution, and defining content strategies that support business and marketing goals across regions. The role combines strong editorial and brand writing skills, content strategy leadership, cross-regional collaboration, and SEO-informed best practices to ensure ESAB’s content is consistent, effective, and impactful across all digital channels.
Primary Duties
Lead and manage a team of Content Strategists to create a holistic content strategy plan that includes all inbound digital tactics and uses SEO as an underlying framework to the created content
Write content that is consistent in style and tone, concise, search-engine-optimized, and actionable to assist in providing an excellent user experience while staying within the framework of ESAB’s brand
Collaborate with Regional MarCom Managers to develop annual content strategy documents for each region (NAM, SOAM, India, APAC, MEA).
Align regional content themes and channel strategies to business goals, with scheduled biannual topic planning and execution calendars.
Lead and manage global influencer outreach program.
Oversee content creation for websites, landing pages, campaign emails, fact sheets, and related marketing initiatives under Global MarCom.
Oversees the use and upkeep of the WeldCave video studio in collaboration with the regional MarCom teams.
Maintain and evolve ESAB’s brand writing standards, and co-develop a Brand Writing Style Guide with the VP of Global MarCom.
Lead the SEO and GEO strategy, including quarterly technical SEO audits and implementation tracking with the development team.
Deliver SEO performance reports to management on a regular cadence.
Define and enforce SEO-driven writing standards across all digital marketing content including web pages, blog posts, educational material, and social media.
Create and manage the global social media playbook and guidelines, monitor engagement analytics, and support region-specific campaign ideation.
Manage a team of writers and social media specialists, fostering cross-training, development, and operational excellence.
Serve as product owner for tools including SEMrush, Canva, HootSuite and others; oversee licensing, procurement renewals, tool evaluation, and AI integration initiatives.
Qualifications
Fluent in English (read, write, speak); proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Relevant university degree in journalism, communications, or marketing.
7+ years of experience in digital content strategy, with a strong portfolio of SEO-driven and brand-aligned content.
Experience managing and developing high-performing content and social media teams.
Expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO; GEO knowledge a plus.
Strong familiarity with SEO tools such as Conductor, SEMrush, Moz, BrightEdge.
Experience in developing regional or global content strategies tied to business goals.
Proficiency in content governance practices, user experience principles, and CMS platforms (open-source or enterprise).
Strong project management skills and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to printer, tablets, cell phones.
Domestic and international travel required (~15%).
