The Creative Team within FAS Marketing has an exciting opportunity for an S3 writer supporting work within the Models business. This role has great growth potential due to dynamic, fast-paced nature of these products. Models is a focus for FAS so this role needs someone seasoned in the space, with the ability to self-manage time, be proactive, coordinate between Creative and stakeholders, and introduce innovative thinking and ideas. 

What you'll do:

  • Creates in-depth, compelling communications and positioning on a range of subjects, including Vanguard funds, products, and services; financial markets; the economy; regulatory matters; portfolio construction and theory, and internal communication topics. The main focus of this role will be Models.

  • Displays versatility in producing clear communications through a wide range of styles and channels, including responsive web pages, campaigns, ads, emails, presentations, blogs, videos, letters, articles, videos, and social media channels.

  • Expertly presents and "sells" content and design solutions to senior management, project teams, marketing partners, and stakeholders. Ensures the success of the strategy and shares out solutions with peers.

  • Assumes a leadership role on key projects for the department or cross departments that require data analytics and subject matter expertise, including responsive web pages, timely communications, campaigns, visioning, testing, and news.

  • Provides direction and guidance on messaging and/or content strategy across mediums-working closely and collaboratively with designers, developers, marketing managers, and business leaders. Leads the creation of new approaches or processes with a 1-3 year outlook. Documents and distributes strategy materials to peers.

  • Serves as mentor to less experienced writers by providing specific feedback on their copy, story ideas, new media formatting, and interviewing skills.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Identifies and pursues process improvements as needed.


What we're looking for:

  • Minimum five years related work experience.

  • Strong financial acumen, specifically related to models portfolios

    Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

  • CFP or CFA preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and PPT

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders

Additional information:

This is a hybrid position based in Malvern, PA, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.
