Macy’s, Costco with its world headquarters in Canada.
Role Overview :
The Content Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, managing,
and optimizing content across websites, e-commerce platforms, marketing
campaigns, and digital channels. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategy,
SEO understanding, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities :
• Own and drive the overall content strategy across e-commerce platforms,
websites, ads, and social media
• Create and oversee high-quality product content, including:
- Website and landing page copy
- Advertising and brand campaigns
- Product descriptions (beyond marketplace/Amazon-only copy)
- Social media posts and creatives
• Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone and messaging across all
channels
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, Product and E-commerce
teams
• Lead, mentor and manage a content team of writers, designers, editors
• Review and optimize copy + visual content (images, banners, creatives)
• Leverage AI tools to enhance content productivity, quality, and scalability
• Adapt content for US & Canadian consumer behavior, compliance, and
cultural nuances
• Track performance and optimize content based on engagement, conversion,
and ROI metrics
Required Skills & Qualifications :
• 5+ years of experience writing and managing content for e-commerce
brands, with a strong focus on Amazon other marketplaces (eBay, Walmart,
Shopify).
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, advertising,
public relations, media studies, or related fields.
• Excellent English writing and editing skills with strong editorial judgment.
• Deep understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce content.
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and keyword optimization tools.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation or optimization will be an
advantage.
• Extreme attention to detail: excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation
skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Basic understanding of digital marketing and
analytics.
