Job Description:
At Regions, the Consumer Market Visit Coach drives consistent execution of the Consumer Bank's Sales, Service and Coaching Process by observing the process in action and then coaching the coaches through consultative guidance. The goal of the position is to achieve company-wide overall sales effectiveness by collaborating with market leadership and providing guidance for proper sales practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts observations and coaching in each district twice annually in collaboration with local leadership
- Observes and identifies development needs (coaching, sales process and leadership) for branches and area managers in each district
- Provides feedback and creates plans for individual area manager’s effectiveness
- Aids branches in the achievement of their performance goals through onsite visit observations
- Identifies market and company performance barriers and diagnoses steps for an improvement action/coaching plan
- Supports openings, sales activities and in-branch process for new branches opening in local market
- Acts as liaison for the bank’s new products, programs and initiatives in local market
- Ensures Bankers are following Regions’ Needs Based Approach and are using approved scripting and resources
- Assists and informs market leadership of the Bank’s new products, programs and initiatives in local markets
- Develops customized tools, resources and job aids for the sales and coaching process
- Acts as subject matter expert for the Consumer Bank's sales, service and coaching process
- Provides guidance to other lines of business for sales process approach for their product/effort/program/initiative
- Analyzes and identifies possible sales, service and coaching impacts for upcoming policy, product, or procedure changes
- Identifies and works with Corporate training for updates to materials, job aids, and process overviews and other materials to ensure consistency with the process
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Six (6) years of sales and/or sales management experience
- Ability to travel 60-70%
The Consumer Market Coach must reside in either the METN or GA/Carolinas district and requires travel of 50-70%. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
