This role is based in our Otemachi Financial City office.

Role Overview

We are seeking a consultant to join our experienced global consulting team that covers the Integrated Technology sectors: from semiconductors, display, auto to manufacturing sectors. We work with market-leading brands, helping clients with their product and GTM strategies, and understanding of where the next wave of technological disruption is coming from to harness it for tangible and sustained business value.

The successful candidate will primarily focus on the Japanese market and innovation, as well as within the broader APAC region and globally. You will be responsible for quantitative and qualitative research such as forecasts, vendor comparisons, market trackers and reports, custom research projects, survey research, white papers, webinars, and industry speaking engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

  • Manage custom research deliverables, delivering projects to client satisfaction
  • Achieve individual consulting billable utilisation targets.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary research, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis.
  • Managing projects by closely working together with other analyst and consultant stakeholders to ensure projects with clear objectives and execution of project plans.
  • Prepare concise, structured research deliverables such as briefs, reports, and presentations.
  • Track project progress, communicate updates, and ensure deliverables align with client expectations.

Bid Management

  • Responsible for all of bid stages of custom projects including drafting of project proposal documents; where necessary, responsible in managing third party subcontractor(s)

Client Engagement and Other Support Areas

  • Ensure exceptional client service through proactive communication and professional handling of requests.
  • Support presentations and meetings by gathering key insights, creating visuals, and preparing briefing materials.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to help implementing growth strategy.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or an applicable field.
  • More than 3 years of experience in semiconductor, semiconductor supply chain or related technology industry.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to source, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and other productivity tools such as Tableau and BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a quick learner with strong attention to detail.

  • Prior experience in a professional service, research, or consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies or competitive analysis frameworks.
  • Automotive or Industrial market knowledge
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Strong English skills
