Sustainability and Energy Transition (S&ET) is at the forefront of todays evolving global energy landscape. Corporates, private equity firms, and governments are accelerating efforts to reduce GHG emissions, achieve climate neutrality, and unlock long-term value through decarbonization. EY-Parthenons Sustainability & Energy Transition practice provides an end-to-end, holistic approach to support clients on this transformation journey. Our focus spans the full spectrum of new energy solutions Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, CCUS, Green Hydrogen, Clean Fuels & Feedstock and comprehensive decarbonization strategy and implementation. We partner with national and international clients to help them navigate regulatory shifts, adopt clean technologies, and build innovative low-carbon business models.
Your Role
As part of the S&ET team in Mumbai / Delhi , you will work closely with consulting teams and clients to drive engagements across New Energy GTM, Decarbonization, Energy Substitution, Circular Economy, and other emerging sustainability themes. Key Responsibilities • Support clients in developing energy substitution, net-zero, and decarbonization strategies.
Analyze the energy transition landscape, assessing competitiveness of alternative fuels/technologies and market players.
Stay informed on regulatory developments across new energy verticals and interpret their business impact.
Understand the financing and investment landscape for new energy solutions.
Assist clients in implementing decarbonization levers across value chains.
Develop ideas for cleaner products, services, and business models.
Contribute to EYs go-to-market initiatives including events, thought leadership, and project proposals.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
• Bachelors degree in Engineering and Master’s degree (MBA preferred).
• Academic background in energy, environmental science, sustainability, economics, or related fields is an advantage.
• 3–10 years of professional experience in business consulting or industry roles within Energy sector
• Exposure to new energy domains such as Green Hydrogen, Solar, Wind, Biomass/Biofuels, CCUS, net-zero strategy, decarbonization, etc
