As a Compliance Associate for UK & Ireland you will be ensuring that Tesla’s internal processes are in line with regulatory requirements of the market. You will be required to develop an in-depth understanding of various processes across business operations, sales and delivery and regularly analyse their compliance with the UK & Irish rules.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in the following compliance areas: credit broking, anti-money laundering, identity verification, vehicle regulation.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the following departments and their internal processes:
    • Sales and Delivery processes
    • Order Operations
    • Delivery operations
    • Vehicle registration and ownership transfer
    • Fleet management
    • Financing processes including finance applications or document collection
    • Purchase orders
    • Revenue recognition
  • Conduct regular compliance checks and quarterly risk audits
  • Prepare monthly compliance reports and risk analysis
  • Own quarterly / annual reporting and activities related to our credit broking licence
  • Maintain compliance related training courses, report on and maximise completion rates
  • Collaborate with other departments and promote a culture of compliance
  • Research and stay up to date with UK & Irish regulation
  • Assist with enhanced customer due diligence and ensure sufficient documentation of all reported cases
  • Monitor Tesla’s financial promotions in accordance to FCA’s Financial Promotions regime
  • Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
  • Analyse our processes for compliance gaps and suggest improvements to minimise risks
  • Monitor customer complaints
  • Previous experience in a compliance-related role beneficial but not required
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or finance-related courses preferable
  • Understanding of UK consumer laws beneficial
  • High attention to detail and ability to analyse trends
  • Great problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organise workload, and meet deadlines
  • Positivity, enthusiasm and a passion towards the mission of Tesla
  • Confident in learning and adapting to multiple technologies
  • Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
