What You'll Do

As a Compensation Analyst, you will be part of the Tech, Assets, and Client Capability Network (CCN) Compensation Team within the Global Compensation Function (GCF).
This group shapes the global compensation philosophy, strategy, design, and delivery for one of the largest segments of the firm. You will work closely with regional compensation teams spread around the world. In this role, you will engage in a variety of initiatives that support our principles-based compensation design across career paths and geographies, aligned with our goal of creating an unrivaled environment for our people.
You will support defining and implementing the compensation strategy for career pathways across our growing population of technology and expertise-based roles. Close collaboration with our Talent and Professional Development colleagues, as well as the other compensation Centers of Excellence and our regional compensation teams, will be essential to your role. You will help ensure our compensation structures are competitively positioned by monitoring external benchmarks, attrition and attraction data, and market trends.
Further you will need to evaluate whether structures follow agreed upon strategic approach globally, partnering with Market Compensation Leads (MCLs) to roll out any updates to global Talent strategies. You will need to quickly become an expert in building compensation structures for assigned paths and partner with market compensation leads to update structures and place colleagues accordingly. You will prepare robust analyses of our internal people data on various metrics including attrition, offer acceptance, time in role, etc. and then synthesize this data into communications to keep GCF, path, and practice leaders informed and to assess and syndicate the need any changes.
You will also support the roll-out of various tools to support mid-year/year-end activities and provide guidance to regional compensation teams on topics specific to the Tech, Assets, and CCN areas of the firm. Specifically, you will own communication to PD and practice leadership around capping of colleagues. Finally, you will support GCF’s Operational Excellence team with their audits as needed.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree required (concentration in HR, business or math-related area is preferred)
  • 2+ years minimum job-related experience
  • Expert Excel (with knowledge of advanced Excel formulas), PowerPoint and Word user; basic knowledge of PowerBI and creating AI agents
  • Previous exposure to compensation data and structures, benchmarking, and prior support of external clients or internal compensation teams is preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills with experience in building models
  • Experience capturing and organizing data in a manner that allows for impactful analysis and insights
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and juggle multiple responsibilities in a calm & composed manner
  • Ability to handle confidential material discretely
  • Extremely detail oriented and a logical, highly structured thinker
  • Analytically minded
  • Strong work ethic and comfort operating in a results-oriented culture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; must be able to communicate clearly, comfortably, and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, potentially including senior leaders
