Commercial Accounting Assistant Manager OTC
Your responsibilities
- Lead commercial accounting activities, including revenue recognition and expense management
- Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and internal controls
- Manage month-end close and prepare financial statements for commercial operations
- Collaborate with commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Oversee trade spend accounting, including validation, reconciliation, and matching of accruals against actuals across multiple channels and promotional types
- Partner with commercial and sales finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of trade spend commitments
- Analyze variances between planned and actual trade spend to identify root causes and support corrective actions
- Maintain robust accrual matching processes to ensure financial integrity and timely recognition of liabilities
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Monitor KPIs and ensure timely reporting
The experience were looking for
- 6 - 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in commercial operations
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and expense accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
