The Parent Liaison and Communications Manager is responsible for monitoring retention performance to support sustainable school growth, ensuring that operational excellence, insight and emotional connection work hand in hand. Main Duties: Parent Liaison and Communications Manager - Strategic Oversight of the Parent Journey - Oversee the full in-school parent journey from enrolment, onboarding and retention. - Champion a hospitality-first culture where service is proactive, attentive and solution-focused. - Identify opportunities to remove friction from processes and enhance clarity for families. - Retention, Re-enrolment/Seat Reservation Withdrawal - Lead the review and analysis of parent survey feedback and experience data, identifying trends and implementing actions to strengthen satisfaction, retention and service quality. - Review parent journey indicators and engagement insights to inform continuous improvement initiatives. - Lead the strategic planning of parent engagement and community events that strengthen belonging, support re-enrolment and reinforce long-term loyalty to the school. - Capture content for social media platforms and create posts, working alongside the cognita marketing team. Communications Governance - Maintain oversight of school-wide parent communications to ensure consistency, tone alignment and clarity. - Ensure communication cadence aligns with admissions, re-enrolment and retention cycles. - Work in collaboration with regional Parent Experience and Communications colleagues to maintain alignment with Cognita standards and shared best practice. Team Leadership - Lead and develop the receptionist team. - Set clear expectations around responsiveness, data integrity and service excellence. - Provide coaching and performance oversight to ensure operational standards are upheld. Compliance Operational Standards - Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding requirements, data protection standards and relevant regulatory frameworks. - Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting and system accuracy across all parent-facing processes. Person Specification - Significant experience in parent engagement, hospitality leadership or school operations, ideally within an international or premium educational environment. - Demonstrated ability to oversee marketing content, retention initiatives and data-informed decision-making. - Strong leadership capability with experience managing service-driven teams and front-of-house standards. - Confident working with school systems and ensuring high standards of data integrity and reporting accuracy. - Professional, culturally aware and committed to delivering exceptional parent experience within King’s College Doha. Legal Requirements - Police clearance certificate from home country (ACRO/ICPC) if from UK and from Qatar, a police clearance certificate, less than 1 year old. - Bachelors degree and Education Certificates must be attested by MOFA and Qatar Embassy in the country your studies were completed in. A course transcript is required. Training and Development - Regularly review own practice, set personal development targets and take responsibility for own continuous professional development. - You will be required to complete mandatory online Edu-care Courses prior to starting at King’s College Doha. Recruitment Safeguarding King's College Doha takes safeguarding the welfare of children and young people very seriously and expects the same from its employees. All staff will be subject to rigorous background checks to include three professional references. All education certificates and supporting documents require attestation to show authenticity. Successful applicants must provide a police clearance certificate from home country (ACRO/ICPC) if UK resident and Qatar CID, if residing in Qatar. Local police clearance certificates must be less than one year old. In addition, all new staff/volunteers will attend KCD induction and undertake mandatory child protection online training which the Qatar Ministry of Education requires.
