About the role We are seeking an experienced Coffee Account Manager Germany to represent Sage Appliances. This role combines in-depth coffee knowledge, strong training skills, and a passion for inspiring others. You will be the face of Sage in retail environments and with our coffee partners, helping us strengthen our reputation as a leading coffee company. This role is accountable for building strong, results-focused relationships with key resellers, driving commercial outcomes through joint business planning, and ensuring every interaction strengthens brand performance and sell-through. This is a hunter role, but hunting here means continuously driving growth within existing and next-tier accounts — turning relationships into measurable, repeatable sales results. The successful candidate will be a recognised presence within the specialty coffee community, commercially astute, and able to translate brand ambition into customer action. Key responsibilities include Establishing and strengthening the customer relationship with the assigned key accounts with all 3 brands in Germany. Deliver profitable sales growth across Specialty Retail within the assigned region. Lead initial territory planning to define key accounts, opportunity sizing, and revenue goals. Build, execute, and own account-level business plans aligned with EMEA Specialty Sales strategy Program visits of the existing accounts but also of potential ones. Ensuring the achievement of sales, margins, and market share objectives under budget proposal at the assigned key accounts Supporting the expansion into the specialty channel, representing, and promoting the brands through training, masterclasses, special events. Connecting with the relevant influencers/coffee insiders of the German community and engage them in talking about the BRG products Supporting the sales director and country manager with the negotiation and conclusion of agreements Preparation and participation at fairs, events. Sales forecast creation for the key accounts and sales reports with customers’ analysis of the relative performances. Creation and implementation of business plans for the assigned key accounts Collection and reporting of relevant information in the market, of competitor conditions/strategies and conduct market surveys, get information about the latest trend Promotional activity planning and execution in conjunction with Sales targets and channel management Budget responsibility Supporting and inspiring partners, ensuring they can successfully showcase and sell all 3 brands. Providing hands-on demonstrations and guidance to elevate the customer and partner experience. Building strong relationships with retail teams, roasters, and key coffee community stakeholders. Staying up to date with specialty coffee trends and translating them into relevant insights for training and brand storytelling. Collaborating with marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and impactful retail presence.
