About the Team:
PerfectDraft builds a connected home beer ecosystem spanning hardware, mobile apps, cloud services, and eCommerce. Our engineering team delivers a reliable, high-quality product at global scale, solving complex challenges across IoT and distributed systems while balancing performance, usability, and real-world constraints. As part of AB InBev, we combine product-focused agility with global reach, and value ownership, collaboration, and pragmatic problem-solving.
We embrace AI-assisted development to improve productivity, code quality, and product innovation. Engineers are expected to use modern AI tools thoughtfully, stay current with advancements, and apply critical thinking to ensure secure, reliable outcomes. We prioritise practical experience over formal qualifications, seeking candidates with strong technical foundations, proven delivery of production systems, and the ability to communicate clear design decisions and trade-offs.
The Role:
Contribute to the development of backend services powering device connectivity, user experiences, and integrations across the PerfectDraft platform. This is a London, office-based role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Build and maintain APIs and backend services
Work with databases and data models
Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and embedded teams
Write clean, maintainable, and tested code
Who we’re looking for:
Experience with C# and .NET (or similar backend technologies), with a solid understanding of APIs and basic system design
Familiarity with relational databases and version control (Git)
Proven hands-on experience building and delivering real-world systems
Writes clear, maintainable, and well-structured code
Delivers tasks reliably and takes ownership of outcomes
Learns quickly, seeks feedback, and continuously improves
Collaborates effectively with Product and stakeholders, asking questions to clarify requirements and solve the right problems
Curious about AI and willing to adopt AI-assisted development tools
Able to use AI tools effectively to enhance learning, productivity, and code quality
