Cleaner -Heavy Duty

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning walls and windows
Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, including hourly checks and restocking supplies
Remove garbage from waste containers throughout the mall and clean up litter on walkways (lift up to 25 lbs)
Use proper cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogens according to state and federal regulations
Perform other janitorial duties as required
Ensuring mall is ready for opening and cleaned at closing time
Keep sidewalks clean of garbage
Leaf blowing and power washing areas

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
Familiarity with proper use of cleaning chemicals in compliance with regulations
Understanding of hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogen disposal procedures
