Claims Services Associate (EC Claims)

Responsibilities: Manage all Employee Compensation (EC) claims for assigned accounts Ensure claims are handled in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices, aiming for timely settlement Maintain appropriate and adequate claims reserves to reflect the potential liabilities accurately Review and examine claims documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, while diligently following up on required information submissions Coordinate with healthcare managers, loss adjusters, solicitors, investigators, recovery agents, and other relevant parties to facilitate thorough investigations, appropriate reserving, and fair settlement Approve or validate claims settlements within the authority limits, ensuring accuracy and compliance Identify, investigate, and report suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims promptly Handle inquiries from claimants, beneficiaries, agents, brokers, and other stakeholders via phone and email with professionalism, providing clear explanations about claim processing, settlement status, or reasons for claim denial Keep insured parties, agents, brokers, underwriters, and relevant parties well-informed about the progress and developments of claims Prepare and manage claims reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission Support system enhancement projects, including assisting in user acceptance testing (UAT) and participating in processes improvement Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as directed by supervisors or management Qualifications: Tertiary education or equivalent qualification 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in claims handling, preferably in Employee Compensation and/or bodily injury claims. Fresh graduates with strong interest and aptitude are welcome Knowledge of Employee Compensation Ordinance (ECO) and bodily injury claims will be advantageous Professional qualifications such as ANZIIF or ACII will be advantageous Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate) and Chinese Word Processing Fluent in both written and spoken Cantonese and English Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills with a professional attitude Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently About AXA Hong Kong and Macau AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurer with presence in 52 markets and serving 92 million customers worldwide.
