Claims Examiner - TPBI
Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Third-Party Bodily Injury Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving third-party bodily injury claims with a focus on delivering exceptional service while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Management: Investigate, evaluate, and settle third-party bodily injury claims in a timely and efficient manner. This includes gathering relevant information and analyzing medical reports and other documentation.
- Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with claimants, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to resolve claims effectively. Ensure that settlement offers are fair, within company guidelines, and legally sound.
- Compliance: Ensure that all claims processes adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting bodily injury claims.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities and contribute to the development of best practices in claims management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience handling third-party bodily injury claims, preferably in an insurance or legal environment.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of bodily injury claims processes and relevant legal concepts.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and injury assessment.
