Claims Adjuster
The Job
We are looking for a Claims Adjuster responsible for evaluating and processing claims, and issuing indemnities within delegated authority levels. This role requires careful review of legal requirements, policy terms, and compliance with Coface Group procedures—always with the goal of ensuring a positive client experience.
The Claims Adjuster will manage claims efficiently, maintain clear communication with policyholders, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of claims management practices. This position reports directly to the Mexico Claims Manager.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional collaborator, demonstrates courage and accountability in decision-making, and excels in communication with policyholders.
Key Responsibilities
•Analyze policy and transaction documents to determine claim eligibility and ensure timely settlement.
•Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves.
•Communicate with clients and brokers regarding claim status, additional information needs, and explanations for uncovered claims.
•Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, and fraud teams as required.
•Coordinate with the Debt Collection team by providing updates that support collection efforts and claim assessment.
Requirements:
•2–3 years of experience as a claims adjuster or in a similar insurance-related role.
•Knowledge of credit insurance, credit practices, legal concepts, business law, insolvency, and standard commercial documentation.
•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
•Proven experience meeting KPIs.
•Understanding of corporate and contract law fundamentals.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Knowledge of the trade credit insurance industry and Coface products is an asset.
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in Administration, degrees or related field.

Location: Ciudad de México/Mexico City (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
