IMC has a network of 25 Terminals at 15 Port locations all accruing 1.25 Mm.cub of storage capacity all along the Indian coast, with throughput of over 8 Million Metric Tons per annum. IMC provides storage and handling facilities for Petroleum Products / Fuels, Liquefied Gases, Petrochemicals, Lubes and other liquid products. IMC also operate a Marine Liquid Jetty at Kamarajar Port (Ennore Port) on BOT basis.

IMC had won various Oil & Gas Infrastructure projects participating in the open bidding process for tenders floated by Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulator (PNGRB). IMC were authorized to lay, build, operate or expand Natural Gas pipeline from Kakinada to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh and Petroleum Product Pipeline from Ennore Port to Manali Industrial in Tamilnadu. The Pipelines are under construction. IMC were also authorised CGD projects for Solapur & Kottayam GAs which are under operation.

A Graduate civil engineer with 10+years experience in civil construction of Oil & gas, Mid-stream, Down-stream, Petrochemicals or Fertilizers Industries. Project engineering, Construction experience in jetty like Marine Constructions, River Bridge are preferred.

Experience in inter department co-ordination, preparation of SOQ/BOM/BOQ, planning, Scheduling, Field Engineering co-ordination, site Project management and Construction expertise are essential requirements.

Job Description:

Project Engineering:

• Co-ordination with inter department discipline for any information required to carry out the job
• Ensuring proper documentation and record keeping of all correspondences
• Review relevant documents generated by consultants or SME and provide inputs
• Review of basic engineering and detailed engineering drawings and provide the comments
• Review the drawings prepared in house, consultants and checking the suitability for constructions
• Preparation of DCI /DCR
• Preparation of the technical specifications
• Preparation of the BOQ/BOM/SOQ along with Special condition of contracts based on specific project requirement
• Preparation of the MPR based on the drawings and site requirements
• Co-ordination with the inter discipline, project managers and site personnel and identifying the gaps and shall take corrective measure to complete the job
• Need to develop concrete mixed sand, Optimize solutions and establish the concrete mix design
• Shall prepare bar bending schedule as a supporting document for TMT procurement
• Shall be familiar with various types of farm work processes and select an optimal method for project
• Shall be familiar with civil works, Inspection and testing
• Shall be familiar with pre-casting of civil structures and provide most economical suggestions
• Shall be familiar with concrete ingredients optimization
• Site visit during construction of brown field projects, shut down projects and make necessary reports and provide the inputs required for the project
• Participate in the Comprehensive review meeting (CPR), Vendor meeting and client meeting and get the proper input to complete the job in the targeted time
• Review of the Work Order and ensuring the scope of works
• Review of DPR and finding out the gaps
• Preparing the Scope of work (SOW) along with QA/AC required for the TPIA
• Getting As Built Drawings” and Final Documents of Project from Site
