Title:

Chief Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead process engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies.
  • Perform and review process simulations and prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, and Utility Balances.
  • Create and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Prepare and review process equipment datasheets and instrument datasheets.
  • Conduct relief and blowdown studies, relief load scenario analysis, and flare network calculations.
  • Perform and review process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics.
  • Develop process design philosophies and operating guides.
  • Participate in and lead technical discussions during process workshops such as PHA/HAZOP and others.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 22 years of relevant Oil and Gas experience.
  • Proven track record in concept studies, FEED, and detailed design projects.
  • Strong experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process teams on hydrocarbon projects.
  • Solid understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards, as well as engineering software and tools.
  • Preference for candidates with Lead Engineer or Advisory experience on at least two projects.
  • Experience in leading technical discussions in process workshops such as PHA/HAZOP.
