The Den, 's-Hertogenbosch, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, opened its doors in March 2022, as part of the Odyssey Hotel Group and franchise of Marriott International. With its location between city and nature, The Den is easily accessible and within walking distance of the city centre and the central station of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Current, the only Rooftop Restaurant & Bar in 's-Hertogenbosch, is where you will get the ultimate culinary experience. Discover this new, cosmopolitan destination with amazing views over the historic city and its green surroundings. At Current, you will enjoy the finest wines, best cocktails and the tastiest dishes. With the use of seasonal products and with worldly influences, we bring the best flavours to your table. The restaurant, bar and roof terrace are open from Wednesday until Saturday for lunch, dinner & drinks. On weekdays the atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, on weekends the energy is as weekends should be. It's all about the vibe!

Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is located in Paleiskwartier, just a 10-minute walk from the central station of 's-Hertogenbosch. From the Paleisbrug, there is direct access to the lift that takes you upstairs. Find us on top of The Den!

THE POSITION

We are seeking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team in the vibrant and dynamic new concept of Current. As a Chef de Partie at our Current Rooftop restaurant, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.

  • Assist in the development and creation of new menu items.

  • Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized.

  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff members.

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and catering functions.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to enhance culinary skills.
