Amsterdam, Noord-holland March 29, 2026 Internship Tesla Custom Ats

Start date: August/September 2026
Location: Amsterdam
Duration: 6 months
Time type: Full-time (40 hours a week)

NOTE: YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN EDUCATION DURING THE ENTIRE INTERNSHIP TO BE CONSIDERED.

The Charging Business Analytics Intern joins the Global Charging team based in Amsterdam. We build the business logic, data infrastructure, dashboards and tools that help Tesla's charging network scale worldwide. We're a business-facing team with growing technical muscle. We own our analytics stack, build lightweight tools and databases, prototype solutions, and partner with engineering teams when things need to go into production. AI tools are accelerating what we can do ourselves – and we're leaning in.

This role is for someone who wants to build. You'll work across the full data stack, collaborate directly with business stakeholders, and help shape how we mature our technical capabilities. Requirements shift, priorities evolve, and you'll have real ownership over meaningful work.

One example project: building an AI-powered chatbot that answers questions about business logic and pulls ad-hoc charging data for internal analytics.

  • Contribute to AI/ML initiatives and intelligent internal tools
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, databases, and internal tooling for charging network analytics
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) that drive business decisions
  • Prototype software tools and APIs to solve business problems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate shifting requirements into practical solutions
  • Maintain clean, documented, version-controlled work in GitHub
  • Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Hands-on project experience with Python and SQL (professional experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable with GitHub and version control
  • Experience using AI tools effectively for coding tasks
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working with business users
  • Adaptable and energized by a fast-moving environment
  • Level C1 in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

Nice to have

  • Exposure to building APIs or lightweight backend services
  • Systems thinker — you see how the pieces connect
