Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy Internal Medicine clinic supporting adult and geriatric patients. This role is ideal for a CMA who is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Position Overview

The CMA will support providers with both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver comprehensive internal medicine services.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and document in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
• Administer injections and medications per scope of practice
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (as applicable)
• Update patient histories and manage chart documentation
• Support daily clinic operations and patient flow

Requirements

• Active CMA certification required
• Previous experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care preferred
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work scheduled weekday hours
