Certified Automotive Technician

Florida - Jacksonville April 19, 2026

We are seeking an ASE-certified Entry-Level Certified Automotive Technician with at least one year of hands-on automotive experience. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to OEM standards, including company fleet and warranty vehicles. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational understanding of automotive systems, is committed to ongoing training and certification, and works well in a team-focused, safety-conscious environment. Toyota or Lexus dealership experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain company, fleet, and warranty vehicles

  • Repair and maintain other various small engines as well as hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair all automotive systems: electrical, mechanical, A/C, etc

  • Maintain warranty and repair records as well as order parts and supplies as required

  • Complete preventive maintenance work as well as other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • ASE Certified level technician

  • Minimum of 1-year automotive experience - Toyota or Lexus dealer experience preferred but not required.

  • Required to maintain current level certifications and ability to take required training, tests, online training modules & additional ASE certifications to grow knowledge

  • Experience and ability to use automotive diagnostic instruments, applicable repair manuals & diagrams

  • Capable of maintaining clean and safe work environment including using all safety equipment and following all safety procedures

  • General understanding and ability to perform diagnosis/repair of technical operating systems of an automobile

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work professionally & effectively in a team environment

  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to use email, and other electronic communication or research resources

  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of associates, customers and vendors required

  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand/walk several hours per day and have full range of motion

  • Must provide and maintain own tools

  • Valid driver's license with ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; clean MVR required
