As a Certification Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of our sustainability compliance, managing global group certifications and ensuring the success of our audit processes. You will play a vital role in implementing certification requirements at a group level, maintaining the integrity of our standards, and supporting our commitment to sustainable trade.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Global Certification Management: Maintain and renew all group certifications (e.g., Organic, RA, FT, 4C), monitoring expiration timelines and ensuring continuous compliance.
  2. Audit Coordination: Act as the lead contact for internal and external audits, preparing documentation and implementing corrective actions for any non-compliance findings.

  3. Reporting & Data Integrity: Manage transaction records on platforms like IMPACT, RA, and FLOCERT, while monitoring Farmer Connect stock data for accuracy.

  4. Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT to enhance tracking tools and internal platforms, while updating procedures and checklists to align with evolving standards.

  5. Financial & Administrative Support: Process certification-related invoices (RA fees, audit fees) and manage documentation on SharePoint.

  6. Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct internal training on traceability and certification for new hires and cross-functional teams like Logistics and Contracts.

  • Professionals in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Sustainable Trade, or other related field; Or has made a career within the organization.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in international trade logistics, shipping or similar
  • High English proficiency
  • Experience in the application of standards to an international trade business operation
  • Understanding of the coffee trade business
  • Understanding of QMS Certification programm standards (ISO, etc)
  • Strong documentation management and audit coordination skills.
  • Procedure writing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of coffee certification programs (Organic, Fairtrade, RA, 4C) is an advantage.
