Shift patterns: Monday – Friday, 8‑hour shifts scheduled between 6am and 7pm, in line with business requirements

We're now looking for a Central Maintenance Control (CMC) Technician
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Drive cost‑effective maintenance and repair solutions, ensuring all work meets commercial, operational, and legislative requirements while controlling budgets and achieving cost‑reduction targets.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on maintenance, repair, and damage trends to identify root causes, cost‑saving opportunities, and performance improvements.
- Proactively audit vehicle history, maximise added‑value opportunities (including warranty, OEM goodwill, and loss‑of‑use claims), and ensure authorisations are made in line with compliance and KPIs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, service providers, and site management to enhance engineering standards, reduce operational risk, and implement effective solutions across business units.
- Support carbon‑reduction initiatives, lifecycle asset management, and the translation of operational requirements into efficient engineering and commercial outcomes.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance
- Vehicle Engineering Technical Knowledge
- Fleet maintenance Knowledge
- Experience in a Transport and or workshop environment
- Establishing specifications, costing, service level agreements and timescales for new and on-going business needs
- Computer Literate – Word – Excel
