Role summary
We’re looking for a Registry Officer to join our growing team in Sydney. You’ll play a critical role in managing investor onboarding, registry maintenance, and capital activity execution for a portfolio of private market funds.
This is a hands-on role that sits at the core of our operations—ensuring that investor records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. You’ll work closely with fund accounting, legal, and implementation teams, and be supported by a modern, AI-native platform designed to automate the manual work.
What you'll do:
Investor Onboarding & AML/KYC
Review and validate investor onboarding documentation (including AML/KYC) in line with regulatory and fund-specific requirements across AU/NZ jurisdictions.
Investor Registry Management
Maintain accurate investor registers, including updates to personal/company details, tax residency, banking instructions, and reporting preferences.
Capital Activity Processing
Support end-to-end execution of capital calls, distributions, transfers and unit issues/redemptions, including preparing investor notices and updating registry records.
Communications & Reporting
Generate and send investor correspondence including transaction notices, holding statements, confirmations and ad hoc letters. Ensure a high-quality investor experience.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure processes comply with AML/CTF laws, FATCA/CRS requirements, and trust deed or PDS specifications. Support audits and compliance reviews as required.
Workflow Management
Track tasks and workflows using internal tools and systems. Flag delays or exceptions early, and collaborate with other teams to resolve open items efficiently.
Process Optimisation
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency or quality of investor operations, and contribute to automation initiatives across the registry function.
What we're looking for:
2+ years of experience in a registry, investor services, or unit registry role — ideally within fund administration, managed funds, or custody
Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements, especially in Australia and New Zealand
Experience handling investor capital activity workflows and working with investor registers
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Familiarity with registry platforms or transfer agency systems preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter who enjoys process improvement and takes ownership of their work
Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus
Benefits
A role with genuine autonomy, impact, and visibility inside a well-funded, high-growth business
Industry-leading technology and a customer base of leading private fund managers
New workstation (MacBook Pro, dual screens, AirPods Pro, accessories)
5 weeks annual leave after 2 years, 6 weeks after 3 years
Unlimited sick leave
Generous parental leave policies
