Capital Markets and Treasury Analyst
As a Capital Markets and Treasury Analyst, you contribute to a range of activities, assignments and projects related to financial markets, capital markets and treasury, in a stimulating environment where issues are tangible and analyses deliver high added value. You work at the heart of ALM and FTP decisions as part of a team recognized for its expertise and collaboration. You analyze and diagnose complex issues and situations relating to bank reconciliation. You provide opinions in accordance with your discipline’s rules and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs. You propose implementation plans. You serve as a support person for a senior advisor in interest rate management. You help solve complex problems. You interact with key players working in other fields, supporting continuous learning. More specifically, you will be required to:
Contribute to ALM and FTP analyses, including assessing interest rate, liquidity and balance sheet structure gaps, as well as monitoring performance and risk indicators
Take part in financial projection, scenario and simulation exercises to assess the impact of interest rate changes and behavioural assumptions on the balance sheet
Work closely with treasury, finance, risk management and financial markets teams to ensure analyses and recommendations are aligned
Support the preparation of presentations for governance bodies and contribute to discussions on balance sheet and risk management strategies
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools and analytical methods to increase efficiency, reliability and the added value of the work delivered

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, engineering, actuarial science, or a related field relevant to the position
A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL)
