Campus Operations Coordinator
Location: UPICNZ Campus, Auckland CBD
Full-time | Permanent | On-Site 

About the role: 

The Campus Services Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors, students and staff, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. In addition, this role will involve coordinating facility maintenance and ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to. 

Key responsibilities will include the following:   

  • Visitor and Communication Management: Greet visitors, manage the reception area, handle mail and deliveries, and efficiently manage phone calls and emails, ensuring timely responses and updates. 
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high service levels, act as a liaison between internal and external parties, and foster positive relationships with clients, visitors, and staff, while collaborating with departments to enhance the international student experience. 
  • Administrative and Business Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling, managing campus information, coordinating ID/access cards, maintaining office supplies, preparing reports, and supporting events. 
  • Facility Maintenance and Safety: Conduct daily facility inspections, address maintenance issues, oversee repair projects, ensure cleanliness, support safety checks, and implement maintenance programs. 
  • Health and Safety Oversight: Assist with health and safety activities, ensure compliance with emergency procedures, maintain safety equipment, and serve as the primary contact for health and safety concerns. 

About you:   

  • At least three years of experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated understanding of business requirements and best practices. 
  • Proven experience in facilities management / school operations management preferred
  • Good stakeholder communication skills, and proficiency in verbal and written English. 
  • Self-motivation, accuracy, and attention to detail. 
  • Able to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, as appropriate, and work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision. 
  • First Aid trained (preferred), or willing to be trained.
